Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team and help drive customer success through technical engagement, support, and development. In this role, you'll work closely with client development teams to integrate our APIs, assisting with onboarding, troubleshooting, and long-term support. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Product Expertise
- Act as the primary contact for customers, providing troubleshooting, guidance on product usage, and custom integration support.
- Partner with customers to address challenges, assisting with product best practices and integration needs.
- Work as a liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve issues and drive product enhancements.
Technical Solutions & Development
- Write production-quality code to assist with customer API integrations, delivering technical solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve API usability, documentation, and integration tools.
- Develop custom tooling for seamless customer integrations.
Problem Solving & Independence
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex API issues independently, providing timely, effective solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of product features to support customer integrations proactively.
Documentation & Developer Relations
- Create and update technical documentation, including best practices, tutorials, and troubleshooting resources.
- Keep customer-facing resources up-to-date, and partner with internal teams to prioritize new content development.
- Collect customer feedback to drive product and API improvements.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in systems or software engineering for commercial or government customers, including product development, integration, and deployment.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting complex systems, ideally with a focus on communications.
- Proven experience in a Technical Solutions, API Integration, or Developer Support role.
- Solid knowledge of APIs, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving API-related issues.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Golang, Java, C++, or Python).
- Familiarity with RESTful API principles, protocols, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in high-security environments with government or commercial customers.
- Familiarity with software development tools, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
